Velix is Tsaijix Qal's grandmother. She is also part of the Divergence. With the aid of the Ambassador, she was copied from her aging body into 4 new younger bodies, which she then led on to take over Gephke. She sent one of herself with the Ambassador with the hope of finding the rest of herself and syncing up.

She was part of the previous attempt by Divergence elements to overthrow the Empire, part of which involved the Glennga system.
