BlurbThe Independent Alliance of Verdigris is a relatively small, mildly isolationist and fiercely independent city-state with its own water supply. The Bureautocracy of Blackwater is an up-and-coming state that has recently pulled itself out of poverty by the bootstraps and is on the verge of running out of water. War is imminent and the first shots have already been fired, but the UN has sent their very best mediator to negotiate a peace treaty at a tiny village between the two polities. The treaty has been signed. The world media have been alerted. People are on their way to formalise everything and throw a big party. But there is a problem. A massive explosion has demolished the meeting hall and killed everyone who knows the details of the settlement. There are only three survivors, and they must renegotiate the treaty before the general public arrive or the war will resume in earnest. |
