Whales and Dassies

- Held an extra bass practice for the Belladonna basses. We used a combination of timidity and Confluence's keyboard to provide notes. Judging by the fact that we now seem to have conquered Ei Laas the practice was a success. Will do more, as necessary.
- Had dinner with Duncan, Roger and Kait last Wednesday.
- Attended our first body corporate meeting last Thursday. Now on the board of trustees. Our first job is to replace the broken lock on the gate at the entrance to our set of flats.
- Played a couple of games of Vampire trying out the new Anarchs cards we bought Saturday before last. I haven't really found a good direction to take the Anarchs deck in yet, so it's a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none affair at the moment. :)
- Visited mom in Hermanus over the weekend. Saw lots of whales, some of them really close to the shore. Saw almost as many dassies. Had good lunch in De Kelders. Played Fluxx and helped with cryptic crossword puzzles.
- Had Thai at Steve and Jo's on Monday night. Naga, their shop, will be opening soon. They are uber busy getting stuff ready.
